Cat Ekkelboom White
My story didn’t begin when I launched my photography business, but when I came home from my first snowboarding trip to the Alps and realised the 9–5 life wasn’t for me. Without knowing where I was headed, I quit my job and moved to the mountains to work as a chalet girl. I later trained as a ski instructor and spent several years in tourism before starting my photography business. Since then, I’ve built a career that blends creativity, freedom, and adventure. I founded the Adventure Wedding Academy to support photographers, and launched Less Work More Adventure — a personal blog about carving your own path. It’s been over a decade since I left the UK for the mountains. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s shaped who I am and how I work. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
